This is slightly old news but how does everyone feel about the latest lineup change? I was super upset when Dave left. As for Durijah and Manny, they seemed like good guys but I never had a real connection to them as I haven't seen them play live. I've been out of the country every time STD has toured :( Just goes to show though, this band is Chris completely. Can't stop that train from a-coming.

i was way bummed when dave left. dave was the last remaining member from when i fell in love with saves. but i did learn to love arun, and i now feel that arun is a much better person for the position. he works so well with chris, and together they just have so much talent. not saying dave and chris dont, but i feel like arun wants to take the band in the same direction as chris does, and im not sure if dave was feeling it.

im super stoked about spencer and rodrigo joining. i always felt like manny and durijah where just doing it as a job for a paycheck and nothing more. there band glassjaw had slowed down and they needed a more steady job. they never really put there all into live shows, or writing. thats just how i feel. but spencer being a long time fan of saves couldnt be more happy to just be playing in a band. his all n all drumming style just fits better as well. rodrigo is the same in the fact that he couldnt be more happy to be in saves the day playing music. saves has needed members you yurn for the thrill of writing and playing shows for the love of it. it will bring alot more to the band, and make it more possible to get out there and be a band.

yeah it's a bummer that Dave left, but at least it was under good circumstances. and I kinda always viewed the band as Chris and a bunch of revolving musicians. not meaning tosound derogitory in any way. simply put, Chris IS Saves The Day.
